        MPEG-4 Codec

This component provides a highly portable and fully optimized MPEG-4 Video Simple profile Encoder and Decoder. InterObject’s MPEG-4 codec is available for a wide range of processor platforms (Intel Pentium and XScale, Texas Instruments OMAP, VADIS and others) and a variety of operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Windows CE/Windows Mobile, Linux, Nucleus and others).

      MPEG-4 Multiplexer and Demultiplexer

InterObject’s MPEG-4 multiplexer and demultiplexer can help software vendors generate MPEG-4 and 3GP/3GP2-compliant files. Our multiplexer generates MPEG-4 and 3GP files that are fully compatible with the most popular media players and technologies (including Apple QuickTime, Philips MP4net, RealNetworks RealPlayer, Microsoft Media Player and Helix Media Player) as well as the most popular handsets, including NTT Docomo, Vodafone and KDDI. We provide support for multiplexing of Hint tracks that allow files to be streamed from the most widespread streaming servers (Darwin, Helix). With support for advanced, HTTP progressive downloads, files generated by InterObject’s multiplexer component may be played back even as they are being downloaded to portable handsets.

InterObject’s proven MPEG-4 components and applications, which utilize them as common building blocks, have been licensed and successfully deployed by such leading companies as Optibase, TDK and Comverse Technologies.
